Pastor Larry D. Byerly

I answered the call to preach during a revival service while serving in the U.S.
Army in Kitzingen, Germany in 1983. I have served in many capacities in the
church since then, but have always leaned toward evangelism.
God has given me a burden to reach not only new souls for His son, but to “stir-
up” Christians to the point that they will adopt and adhere to a daily schedule of
reading His word, and develop that most awesome personal relationship that only
comes from spending time with the person of Jesus Christ, through that daily
devotion.
I believe God has led me to this avenue of evangelism to show the churches of
America that although every country needs to hear the gospel, America needs to
come back to the God that promised us the “milk and honey” most of us have
become so accustomed to. We must “bring ourselves into remembrance”, the
God we have been so blessed by, in this great country.
In Paul’s day, people had the time to sit and read the word of God. Life in
America has become so fast-paced, that most Americans only take time to read
the scriptures pointed out to them during the message on Sunday morning or
evening services.
In places such as the Philippines, and India, where life is still rather “laid back”,
huge numbers of souls are being saved, and untold amounts of miracles are being
accomplished because the people there are “ready to receive” the Savior and they
are seeking His presence in their lives.
My vision is to take the word of God to America and show them how to restore
the victory in their daily lives through the application of His word and the
personal relationship bond that His word promises to give us if we seek Him with
our whole heart and soul.
