What We Believe
Testimonials
Fire From Heaven Ministries International is devoted to proclaiming the
Word of God to the world, bringing unity to the body of Christ through an
organized fellowship of ministers, and establishing an educational
environment for the training and edifying of the saints.
Currently, Fire From Heaven Ministries is working to support and build
churches in remote areas of the Philippines. We are also working with pastors
in those areas to support orphans throughout the region.
Watch for future developments of other areas of outreach as well as the
establishment of the Fire From Heaven Bible Training Center.

Larry answered the call to preach in a revival service while serving in
the U.S. Army in Kitzingen, Germany in 1983. Evangelist Doug Martin
preached the message.
Larry has served over the years as Associate Pastor, Interim Pastor,
Children's Church Pastor, Praise Team Leader, and Coordinator for
hospital visitation team. He has also been associated with the prison
ministry at MANCI in Mansfield.
He has been called many times to be Master of Ceremonies at local
gospel sings, and fund raisers, and has performed at the Ashland,
Richland, and Crawford County Fairs. Until very recently, he was active
in two bi-weekly assisted living home ministries, singing and
presenting the word of God.
I was sitting in my prayer "closet" one day, and as I was talking to the
Lord, I said, "God, I'm already 43 years old, how much time could I
possibly have left to accomplish any vision for you." I laid my head
back and closed my eyes for a moment. As clear as could be, a thought
entered my mind and these words came to the top .... "What if I gave
you 43 more years, how long would it take you to get started?" Then I
heard an audible voice say only, "Larry!" As I looked around, sure
enough, there was no one there, and I was even a little frightened,
you know when all of a sudden someone enters the room and you
don't know they're there. Suddenly they speak and catch you by
surprise...that kind of feeling.
Well, there was no one there physically. You can try to "explain" what
you think I may have heard, But in the words of the prophet, "as for me
and my house," It was God telling me to get up and get going and let
no one stand in the way of the vision he had given me.
I've had degree-holding preachers tell me, "I've spent so-and-so years
getting a formal education at Such-and-such bible college, " and then
tell me they don't agree with the ordination process of a "formally
uneducated" person.
Well, all I can say is I know God has called me to do what I'm doing,
many people will attest to that fact, including the ministry I am
ordained through. God has used me in some pretty miraculous ways,
one of which you can read about on my home page.
I am constantly leading people to Jesus, because I'm an empty vessel,
ready and willing for the Master's use, counseling from God's word
and a wealth of personal experience, and encouraging the saints
through the preaching of his word.
I've had opportunities to quit, but I haven't taken them. I answered the
call to preach in 1983 in Kitzingen Germany, in a Wednesday night
service preached by Evangelist Doug Martin. The message was from II
Samuel chapter 13:30-31 and the title was "The Barley Fields" I know
what God said at 9:00 that night, I answered the call and the gates of
hell shall not prevail against me, no matter what clothing they're
dressed in.
I'm not an arrogant person, as a matter of fact, a very humble one, but I
am very confident of my calling and am fully committed to walking in my
destiny and the vision God has given me for lost souls and
heartbroken saints. Isaiah 61:1-11

Larry,
I greatly appreciate your morning devotions "Food For The Soul." As a
Christian man who has been through a number of storms over the years,
I am now at least able to recognize when Satan is attacking me. Some
mornings I can read my scriptures and be set for the day. Other days, It
seems like I'm a little weaker. I need a little extra dose of God's word to
help strengthen me. Your devotions, have spoken to me directly on
several occasions. I am certain God has spoken through you to instruct
and support me at just the right time it was needed. I'm also certain that
he has spoken through you to others. I find the hardest thing about living
for Christ today is the advanced technology. We are bombarded by hi
tech junk everyday. I want to thank you for taking that technology and
finding a way to make a positive contribution to lives of so many brothers
and sisters in Christ. Keep up the good work that God has been doing
through you. God Bless!

Larry and I have worked very closely over the years together. We've
ministered together, served together and prayed together. We've
shared from the deepest corners of our hearts, as minsters, and he
has been found faithful as a friend and colleague. God has given him a
vision and he's not about to let any weapon formed against him, keep
him from his destiny.
God has given Larry an intense passion for souls. His anointed singing
and unique preaching is sure to be a blessing. I highly recommend him
for any engagement.
